I have worked as a Software Engineer since 1978 and in 2001
began work on a dual degree program in Near Eastern Antiquities and Religious Studies.
After graduation I embarked on a Religious Studies studies degree at Missouri State
University and completed that degree in May 2011. The focus of my studies was Syriac
Patristics and my thesis centered upon a fourth century writer of Syriac Christianity
known as Aphrahat. On this site I am particularly interested in exploring questions
sparked by my studies that I was unable to explore in my thesis. Questions that deal
with my own understanding of Christian spirituality, beliefs, and ethics.
