This site contains morpholgically tagged texts from the Patristic era that
survived in the Syriac language and were essential to my M.A. thesis. The
primary text that is available to the public is the Syriac New Testament or
Peshitta. Also available are the Odes of Solomon, at least the portions of
the Odes I have transcribed. The Peshitta is tagged
with SEDRA morphology as defined by George Kiraz and distributed through
Beth Mardutho and I have pseudo-tagged
the Odes of Solomon with the same morphology. Pseudo-tagging
is under further refinement and at this time provides very little morphological
information for the texts that are pseudo-tagged. However, a redesign of the
database that is currently underway should increase SEDRA morphological
information for pseudo-tagged text from about 1-2% to approximately 30-35%.
